Zo... het weekend is voorbij. Bent ù klaar om er weer in te vliegen? Ik wel.
Geloof het of niet, hoewel u waarschijnlijk de indruk hebt dat dit een 'zwart' niemendalletje is, kwam er aan heel deze studie geen spatje zwarte olieverf te pas... Hoezo? Optische 'misleiding' door menging van ultramarijn (blauw) donker met Van Dijck bruin. Deze twee omvatten de drie primaire kleuren die samen 'de indruk' van zwart geven.
Maar iedere schilder weet; 'echt zwart' is helemaal geen kleur, enkel de totale absorptie van licht en daarom onmogelijk te bereiken met verf.

Believe it or not; however you get the impression of 'black' tissue, I didn 't use any black oilpaint at all...
How come? Optical deceit, by mixing ultramarine blue and Van Dijck brown. These two contain the three primary colors which give a 'black' impression.
But as every painter can tell, black is not a color at all, it 's the total absorption of light and therefor impossible to achieve with paint.
